Hi, this is Junko!
The weather is getting hotter here in Japan and the summer is coming. When it comes to summer, it’s a sunflower!
So this leads to making me design hiragana alphabet charts with cute and kawaii sunflowers!
They are in a typical format Japanese kids first use for learning the Japanese alphabet and include 46 hiragana letters with romaji. Perfect for Japanese learning beginners!
All the files are made in PDF format and printable in A4 size. I prepared 3 different designs and hope these cheerful sun flowers will motivate you!
Water Color Sunflowers
A hiragana chart with cute water color sunflowers. Sunflower says HIMAWARI in Japanese.
HI means “sun” and MAWARI does “to rotate”. This name comes from the fact that a sunflower moves to chase the sun.
Bright Yellow Sunflower
A chart that is filled with bright yellow. These cute yellow flowers will raise your spirit! Yay!
A hiragana chart that draws a summer scene with the blue sky and sea, and a sunflower field.
It reminds me of summer vacation when I was little and makes me feel somehow nostalgic.
I know learning a language is not always fun, but I hope these charts help you enjoy studying even a bit!
And if you have any requests for printable Japanese materials, please let me know. I’ll meet your needs as much as possible!
