Gojo Satoru likes something sweet. He dislikes alcohol.Gojo is a lightweight drinker. In the novel version of Jujutsu Kaisen, he ordered melon soda instead of alcohol in an Izakaya (a Japanese-style pub).
According to the author of Jujutsu Kaisen Akutami Gege, Gojo had sweets to rack his brain and eventually became a sweet tooth. You can see him throwing a lot of sugar into his coffee in episode 64 of the manga.
Gojo uses his cursed techniques all the time and makes it possible to guard himself automatically. I think it requires a massive amount of energy, which is also why he wants sweet stuff.
This is Gojo’s Favorite Sweets, KIKUFUKU!
Do you remember that Gojo Satoru bought something in episode 2 of the anime?

And….ta da!

This is KIKUFUKU, a rice cake stuffed with cream and sweet paste. Kikufuku is sold in Sendai city in Japan. I live in Sendai and I can get it anytime 😁
The green one on the left side is Gojo’s favorite flavor “Zunda”. Zunda is a sweet paste made from edamame (green soybeans) and it’s a specialty of Sendai.

The taste? Of course, it’s good! The rice cake is soft and sticky, and the cream and paste taste sweet and rich. Unfortunately, international shipping is not available at the shop that sells this Kikufuku. Please try it if you ever come to Japan!

How Did You Like It?
