What is a kanji letter for CAT?
Cat says NEKO in Japaese.
Cat is NYAN NYAN in baby language because “meow” says “nya” or “nyao” in Japanese.
Also, NYANKO and NEKO-CHAN are frequently used in spoken language by women.
What about NUKO?
Ah, that’s a net slung! The word NUKO often used on net bulletin boards with a love for cats.

How to read
NEKO, BYOU, MYOU
It’s a common kanji letter and does not give cool or cute impressions in particular.
If you wanted to use it for your artwork like a tattoo, I recommend you choose other symbols.
The left part of the character stands for “animal”.
As for the right parts, there are two theories about its origin.
One is that it pictures a flexible cat’s body. The other is it expresses cat meowing because this part can be read “nae” and the sound is similar to “nyao”.
