UN = luck, fortune,carry something, move something
MEI = life, order
The word UNMEI represents a superhuman power that gives good luck or bad luck to a person.
We sometimes use this word simply to mean “future” or “course of the events”.
In English, “destiny” and “fate” are used differently. Is there a Japanese word for “fate”?

It gives solemn and somehow powerful impressions.
And I think many Japanese people associate Beethoven’s 5th symphony because the music is called “Unmei” in Japan.
